IFFR MEETS NCE/TEMPO
On February 2, 2025, the first ever editors event at the International Film Festival Rotterdam took place in Studio 8 of De Doelen.
An international panel, consisting of Joana Scrinzi, AEA, Özcan Vardar, KUDA, BFS, and Jay Rabinowitz, ACE, discussed their takes on the state of the art film editing in a globalizing industry, illustrated by clips from IFFR-premieres PERLA (Alexandra Makarová) and AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW (Pelin Esmer), as well as from GHOST DOG: THE WAY OF THE SAMURAI (Jim Jarmusch, 1999).
An audience of editors and filmmakers from across the globe attended the event and the subsequent mixer.
